I had a terrible experience at AMC Jersey Gardens 20. The venue was very dirty and poorly maintained. During my screening of a Chinese movie in Auditorium 2 (Screen 2), there was persistent, loud noise coming from inside the theater, which completely ruined the film. I went out to report this to the staff. Three employees were sitting around, laughing and chatting. When I explained the issue, they casually told me to go back to my seat and wait, but not a single one of them even stood up or made any effort to address the problem. Unsurprisingly, the noise continued until the movie ended. Whether they were just lazy or completely ignored my complaint, this level of service is unacceptable. I will not be returning.

I only put one star because it won’t allow me to put no stars. This AMC definitely deserves zero stars. I spent 100 plus dollars on snacks drinks and food for my family. However none of the soda machines were working. The cashier never told us they weren’t working. They bathrooms were filthy and disgusting. My popcorn was burnt. I asked to speak to a manager I was told no management was there unacceptable. This AMC needs a new manager or needs to be shut down immediately.

This is one of the worst AMC theaters I’ve visited. The bathrooms are old, and there wasn’t even any soap available. I literally saw people come out of the men’s restroom without being able to wash their hands because the soap dispensers were empty. That’s a basic hygiene issue and can increase the risk of spreading germs. The faucets and restroom fixtures also look very old and poorly maintained. The food line is extremely long, and the overall management is poor. Even the ticketing process feels disorganized. There is no special customer service or accommodation for AMC Stubs members. Although they have a separate line for members to order food, we still had to wait 20–25 minutes in the middle of the movie, making it almost impossible not to miss part of the film. The auditoriums are also cramped, with very little legroom compared to many other AMC locations. Parking is another major issue. The theater shares its parking lot with the mall, so finding a spot can be frustrating, especially during busy hours. I would highly recommend avoiding this location if you have other AMC options nearby.

It was pretty empty when we went but it’s clean so I can’t complain… they just need to maintain their restrooms a bit as it was starting stink die to non maintenance probably.

The theatre is huge! But its getting old. Seats are getting old/stained/ripped some places. The box office area, and the refreshment area need a makeup/remodelling or atleast fresh paint. But other than that, i would suggest- Maybe they can have recliner chairs in the theatre. They have space for it for sure.
